I got a new plate of stamps today from Oxford Impressions, I just love their stamps! This is the first card I've made so far and I just love the way it turned out. I started w/ covering a piece of watercolor paper w/ a full bodied yellow acrylic paint. I layered on some torn pages using my gel medium to apply them. Then I got out my color washes and layered a butterscotch and a copper color. I then took one of the Ranger Daubers in carmel and used that to go over the top of some sequin waste to give it a honeycomb affect. Stamped some flowers using my Pumpkin Staz-On for some accents. Stamped the hive on glossy cs and shot a couple sprays of the butterscotch colorwash across it and then put the whole card together. I just looks so kewl!! I have second thoughts about giving this one away LOL

This is a beautiful card! Thanks for sharing all the steps. I would have a hard time sending it out also!

I don't think I could give this one away. It's gorgeous, Lisa... but then again most everything you do is AMAZING!
