Art Doll

This is my first Art Doll, I did it for a swap and now I'm not so sure I want to give it away LOL Isn't that how it usually goes? The arms and legs are cut from leather on a Wizard Die. The leather was too thick for the die to go all the way through so I had to cut it out by hand, but it worked pretty good I thought. The holes were punched w/ my Crop-A-Dile, it went right through the leather and the metal. The face is done from a push mold that my g/f made, the spirella halo's are wizard dies as well. The body is actually a Dream Box from Artchix Studio. I wish the scan wasn't so dark so you could see the colors of the inside as well.

Boy I sure wouldn't give it away either. That is just to cool and I would be thinking that anyone else would not appreciate the work and beauty you put in it. Make something else for the swap and keep this art. Seriously!

Hey Lisa... I love this Art Doll.. can you make them as big or small as you want? Make one for the Christmas Gift Swap at Dad and Mom's and I'll be grabbing it up fast!! *S* Very cool.

Your doll is beautiful. I really think you are a wonderful creative artist. I was wondering about the size of your doll. I have loved paper dolls (of course "paper" is a generic term here, because I make them out of lots of different media)all my life. I tried to send you an e-mail and because I have a new computer, got it yesterday, I could not send for some reason. I would love to share some of my art with you, so if you could e-mail me at leastart@yahoo.com I can send you my web addresses.
