Well the blackbird is gone, and in it's place is a cruedly handpainted bluebird, I think thats what it is anyways LOL. I think the bluebird lightens the piece up and plays to the whimsy of the eggs. Now again, I haven't yet sealed this piece so anything is possible LOL I'd love to hear what you think of the change, is it good? bad? Anything that needs to be added or taken away? I'm always curious what other people would have done differently.

The blue bird does give the whole piece a much friendlier feel. If I could draw that well I wouldn't bother with transfers.

I love both versions - but they each have a very different 'atmosphere' - the crow one has dark menace lurking, while the bluebird version is very friendly and fun!
