I took my very first ever art class of any kind (since school of coarse) today with a good friend of mine whom I don't get to play with nearly enough!! I figured if I was gonna take a class it might as well have one of the best art teachers around, (not to mention, truely adorable as well)!!! If you can't tell these pieces are done on chip board!!! I now have a new love for chip board!! I've used it before but never like this!! We took the metallic acrylic paint daubers and painted each piece and let it dry. When it was dry we sanded and scratched it up using sand paper and this giant push pin (which I now need to add to my art supplies!!!) Then we took the Walnut Stain Distress Ink pad and wiped and smooshed that onto it and wiped off the excess. What a great look!!! Another tool we used, that I was never going to buy was the Crop-A-Dile, but now I think I really need one LOL It's so easy and I think I'd use my eyelets more if I had one. I also told my husband after showing him these that he needs to save me computer boards when they get rid of computers at work!! This was a really fun class and I think I'd even like to venture out and try some other teachers next time. Although, I'd be hard pressed I think to find one as cute LOL

I had 2 whole days of classes with Tim in Perth last year.
I think he stole a lot of hearts that weekend!
