Stuck in a Rut

I'm really starting to feel like everything I do looks like everything I've already done! I'm not really sure how to get out of this rut. I have another art fair Sept. 20th and I've got to get more things created for it, but I'm really struggling with it. Anyone got any ideas how to get me out of this rut? Guess it may be time to pull out my Acrylic Revolution book again and page through it, maybe something will inspire me.

I am guessing that you feel what you have been creating for the art show looks all the same. I am not seeing that with what has been posted on your blog. I think you need to take a few days away from working on items for the art show and spend it looking for inspiration. Whether it is going into a book store and looking at art books/magazines, visiting an art gallery, or just not doing anything art related will spark some inspiration. Hang in there...this is only temporary.

...and maybe just create for yourself, and with no end product in mind, just enjoy the journey. That's where I love glue books...basic stuff.

I know what you mean. I've been in a rut lately also....but it's been topped by a huge creative block! Debi and CaBaCuRi are right. Do something just for yourself. You'll get inspired again...don't worry.
